Compositing or ” making digital sandwiches” is the combining of visual elements from separate sources into single images, often to create the illusion that all those elements are parts of the same scene.
In digital photography, compositing means using Photoshop and making a kickass image out of a BLAH one!

There’s no single way to do it. But a few things to keep in mind are:

Make sure the light on your subject and the image you are using to sandwich is falling from the same direction.

You can adjust the tonality later, but starting with the same tonality makes the process way easier.

The quick selection brush in Photoshop will be a quick way to cut out your subject, but isn’t perfect. You need to adjust the size of the brush regularly.
